About The Podcast
My Ministry Story
I was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex — a rare skin condition that came with daily pain, scars, and a battle for identity. For years I carried that hurt quietly, believing it disqualified me from leading. But God used my pain as the very place He would shape my calling.
My ministry journey has taken me through student ministry, executive leadership, curriculum writing, and creative roles across churches of every size and style. Some seasons were beautiful. Others left wounds — betrayal, burnout, manipulation, and the kind of church hurt nobody prepares you for. Those experiences didn’t break my calling; they clarified it.
Beyond the Numbers was born out of those stories. I wanted to create a space where ministry leaders could be honest, healthy, and whole — where we talk about the real stuff behind the platform, the metrics, and the pressure. This podcast is my way of saying: You’re not alone. Your story matters. And God can redeem every part of it.

Beyond The Numbers Purpose
This podcast exists for next gen leaders — youth pastors, kids pastors, student ministry directors, volunteers, and anyone trying to lead the next generation with integrity and purpose. We talk about the things most leaders face but rarely say out loud: boundaries, burnout, calling, pain, healing, and what healthy ministry actually looks like.
My goal isn't to build hype; it’s to build leaders who last. The church doesn’t need more charismatic personalities — it needs healthy shepherds who model spiritual maturity, emotional honesty, and Christlike leadership.
If one conversation can help a leader stay faithful for the long haul… if one story helps you breathe again and feel seen… if one episode keeps someone from giving up — then this podcast is doing what God called it to do.
Our Values

These are the values that drive the podcast, my leadership, and the heartbeat behind every episode:
Scripture over strategy — We build ministry on the Word, not just trends.
Health over hype — God cares more about your soul than your stage.
Family over platform — Ministry should never cost you your home.
People over metrics — Jesus didn’t die for attendance numbers; He died for so that the world may be saved.
Purpose over performance — Your worth isn’t in your output — it’s in your calling.
